Co-owners and founders Grant Willits and Sonya Trevino bring a collective wealth of knowledge to the business, boasting more than 75 years of hands-on experience in the fruit and nut processing sector.
Throughout their distinguished careers, Grant and Sonya have dedicated themselves to refining processing standards, driving innovation, and fostering strong industry relationships. Together, their combined leadership guides California Custom Processing's commitment to excellence, ensuring the highest level of service, safety, and reliability for every client they partner with.

Grant Willits is the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of California Custom Processing, LLC (CCP), bringing more than 35 years of specialized expertise to the tree nut industry. Since co-founding CCP in 2012, Grant has been a driving force behind the company’s evolution into one of the Central Valley's premier custom processors.

Sonya Trevino is the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of California Custom Processing, LLC, anchoring the company with over 35 years of distinguished leadership in the fruit and nut processing sectors. Alongside Grant Willits, Sonya co-founded CCP in 2012 with a vision to deliver unmatched quality, operational flexibility, and tailored customer solutions to California's agricultural community.

Chief Financial Officer
Leighton Allen, CFA, CPA serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of California Custom Processing, LLC, where he orchestrates the company’s corporate fiscal strategy, capital allocation, and long-term financial health. Holding both the C.F.A. and C.P.A. designations, Leighton brings elite financial acumen and rigorous analytical discipline to the tree nut manufacturing sector. Navigating CCP's major 52,500-square-foot facility expansion in Madera while seamlessly integrating the plant’s sustainable industrial solar array and battery storage infrastructure, driving massive long-term operational savings and cementing CCP's competitive economic foundation.

Chief Customer Officer
Carmen Buriel-Lewis serves as the Chief Customer Officer at California Custom Processing, LLC, where she bridges executive strategy with day-to-day operational excellence to drive the company’s commercial growth. In this multifaceted leadership role, Carmen oversees sales initiatives, logistics, and sanitation departments, ensuring a seamless experience that spans from initial customer relations to final product delivery. Food Safety Quality Assurance Manager
Derek Alexander serves as the Food Safety Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager at California Custom Processing, LLC, where he directs the rigorous compliance and testing protocols that safeguard CCP's premium product lines. Derek brings a deep background in food safety and operations management.
